The year 2020 is upon us, and in order to get the best out of it, we need to plan the year ahead. Look ahead at the year 2020 and organise your time off now to ensure smooth sailing and avoid disappointments.
January:
January 26th is on a Sunday, giving you a public holiday on January 27th. Take four days off (January 28-31) and get a break form January 25th until you get back to work on Feb 3rd.
April:
Easter Saturday falls on April 4th. Plan your time off to take leave before and after the public holidays to maximise your time off while minimising time off work.
November:
Melbourne Cup Day (VIC) is on Tuesday 3rd of November. Take that whole week off and get nine days off (including weekends) for the price of four!
For more public holidays relevant to your state, please visit: https://www.australia.gov.au/about-australia/special-dates-and-events/public-holidays – there are quite a few to choose from depending on your state/territory.
