In November 2025, we reported on changes to the Australian Superannuation laws that will be coming soon. The new superannuation law requiring employers to pay super on the same day as wages is is officially coming in to effect as of 1 July 2026.
But here’s the reality: While many businesses are only now scrambling to catch up, Pharmacy SOS has been consistently paying super ahead of the curve – long before the law arrived.
We have been paying super early, pay day by pay day, fortnightly. We continue to pay super before everyone else does. This law is finally here (almost), but we were already implementing it long ago. And moving forward, we will keep paying super early – not because we have to, but because it’s always been the right thing to do for our locums.
Bottom line: Other agencies are just catching up. We never fell behind.
