We have an important update to share with you today regarding invoice payments.
Online Card Payments Removed – Effective 1st October 2026
Following the Reserve Bank of Australia’s (RBA) decision to ban card surcharging from 1 October 2026, we have made the decision to remove the online payment function for invoices issued on or after 26 August 2026.
Why this change?
The RBA’s Conclusions Paper on Merchant Card Payment Costs and Surcharging found that:
“Surcharging is no longer achieving its intended purpose. Consumers and businesses find surcharging rules complex and confusing, and surcharges are often not well disclosed.”
With the ban on surcharging coming into effect on 1 October 2026, businesses will no longer be able to pass card payment costs on to customers. As a result, we have decided to streamline our payment process and no longer accept credit card payments for invoices.
How to Pay Your Invoices Going Forward
Please pay all invoices via direct bank transfer to the following account:
