If you’re currently using BT Super For Life or Asgard Super as your superannuation fund, we wanted to let you know about a recent change. These two funds have merged into a new fund called Mercer Superannuation Fund, and starting from the evening of 17 March 2023, they will no longer be accepting contributions.
If you haven’t already, it’s important that you check if you’re affected by this change. You can do this by contacting your super fund and getting the relevant information. If you’re unsure about whether you’re using one of these funds, it’s always a good idea to double-check with your employer.
As an employee, it’s crucial that you keep your super fund details up to date with your employer. Otherwise issues with your superannuation payment batch will result.
If you are affected by this change, make sure you provide Pharmacy SOS, with the updated fund information before we process your next super payment, expected to be end of March. This will ensure that your super contributions continue to be paid correctly and on time.

Additional information/correction as of 21/03/2023:
The BT Superannuation fund and Asgard Superannuation merger previously advised has been corrected. The change affects only BT Super due to the merger into the Mercer Superannuation Trust on 1 April 2023, and it will no longer be taking employer contributions from 23 March 2023.
